Not to mention the growers and makers – and the 150,000 livelihoods these industries support.
Labor has already strengthened biosecurity, supported equipment purchases and importantly – banned fracking across the state.
But there’s more to do. So here’s the plan.
A re-elected Labor Government will work with agricultural businesses, distilleries and winemakers to expand their operations and promote their produce to the world.
We’ll work with farmers and the National Centre for Farmer Health – to make sure they have the critical health and wellbeing support services they need.
And we’ll work with the hospitality industry to up-skill workers, with scholarships to support their studies.
We’re making sure our makers and growers have the support they need to continue producing some of the world’s best products.
We’ll help boost businesses, and create more jobs.
And make sure Victoria stays clean, green and frack free.
