A new Green economic future. The Australian Greens are highly economically responsible. When Tony Abbott opposed the stimulus package, the Greens supported it and made it better. That Greens action saved Australia from recession, saved 600,000 and thousands of small businesses.
The Greens led the campaign to get an extra $30 a week for aged pensioners.
The Greens are the one political party which supports Treasury’s mining super profits tax.
But perhaps the most important economic reform is a pollution tax. Tony Abbott’s extreme alternative would have taxpayers compensate polluters. The Greens plan is to have the big polluters pay and have households compensated.
