Campbell Newman’s backflip on uranium mining
23 October 2012 – Queensland Premier Campbell Newman overturns the ban on uranium mining, despite saying only weeks before that he’s made it “crystal clear” his government has no plans to overturn the ban. Greens Senator Larissa Waters says this decision is economically foolish and environmentally dangerous.
