The people of Gaza need a ceasefire.
That’s why today @jordonsteelejohn moved to suspend Parliament to demand our Government supports a ceasefire now.
But instead, they voted with the Liberals for the State of Israel’s bombing and invasion of Gaza to continue.
The UN, Amnesty International and millions around the world are calling for a ceasefire.
It’s appalling that when 10,000 have died, almost half of them children, with over 2 million more lives in Gaza at risk, that the Labor Government is choosing more war when the world is pushing for peace.
Ceasefire now. End the occupation.
