We are already at 1 degree of warming and everyday people are already suffering as a result. Unfortunately Labor’s support for new coal and gas will wipe out even their weak target of 43%.
This bill could be the beginning of a genuine movement towards real climate action, but only if the government joins the Greens to stand up against big coal and gas corporations, says no to new coal and gas projects, and puts everyday people first.
