Day 1 - Lee Rhiannon 'Lives Below the Line'

Australian Greens

Day 1 – Lee Rhiannon ‘Lives Below the Line’

Lee is participating in a campaign called ‘Live Below the Line’ that seeks to raise awareness about extreme poverty and raise funds for projects that will make a real difference to people’s lives.

The campaign is a challenge to live for 5 days on less than $2/day: https://www.livebelowtheline.com/.

Each day we will discuss a different aspect of International Aid and Development and either make a little video or write a blog post about it.

For our first video post, we met with Aletia Dundas and Peter Jennings from Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA – the overseas aid agency of the Australian Council of Trade Unions.

To find out more about APHEDA and learn about how you can support their very important work, please visit: http://www.apheda.org.au/.
