The people of NSW will go to the polls on 28 March 2015.
Newtown is a new diverse and progressive electorate – it’s also an opportunity for our community to lead the way in achieving change.
The Greens are the party to clean up politics in NSW. We have a strong history of MPs as activists who know that our actions in parliament are only as powerful as the support that they have from people and activists in the community and on the streets.
We have a strong and proven track record of doing politics based on principles and on working with the community to achieve real progressive change.
Right now, we need to raise $10,000 before June 30. This will enable us to start rolling out our neighbourhood organising strategy – activating and engaging supporters across the electorate.
