Jordon calling out ableist comments about autistic people by NDIS Minister
@jordonsteelejohn calling out comments Minister for the NDIS, Bill Shorten made last week about autism and the NDIS. In Jordon’s words:
“There’s no excuse for these sorts of comments. The stereotypes they feed into have real life consequences felt all throughout the disability community and are obviously especially harmful for autistic folks.
As someone with a position of extreme power over our the support disabled people receive, this level of ignorance and thoughtlessness from Minister Shorten is completely unacceptable.”
