Keep Sport Free
Millions of Australians tuned in to watch the Matildas last night, but if Labor’s new legislation is passed it would mean that half of all households would be locked out of watching iconic sporting events like this for free in the future.
Our future Tillies, AFL stars, and olympians should be able to watch their sporting idols for free no matter what device they use. The Greens want to make sure no one misses out on watching their favourite sports.
Whether you tune in on an old-school TV aerial plugged into the wall, or watch on a smart TV, phone, tablet or laptop – sports should be free to watch for all.
