Max Chandler-Mather on Labor and the LNP’s bill to fast-track gas approvals
In a new Bill that was supposed to be about workers safety, Labor will strip the environment minister of their powers to review big offshore gas projects for their effects on the environment or to require First Nations consultation that is required by the current system. Instead Labor will give these powers to the coal and gas loving Resource Minister.
