Max Chandler-Mather speaks about Palestine
This week @mchandlermather moved a motion in Parliament calling for Labor to drop their support of Israel’s invasion in Gaza. Concern without action is meaningless. Labor refused to support the motion.
We must see moral and political courage from our government. Labor must stop supporting the invasion. Stop supplying the state of Israel with weapons and political cover.
We need a permanent and lasting ceasefire and the government must bring sanctions against Prime Minister Netanyahu and his war cabinet and join South African’s case at the ICJ.
