Rents are out of control
Rents are out of control. The human consequences of this are unacceptable.
It doesn’t have to be like this. Labor could freeze rents. Labor could stop the handouts for wealthy property investors. Labor could build the public housing we need.
So every time you, your friends, or your family cop an out of control rent increase remember: Labor could stop this, but they are choosing property investor profits and unlimited rent increases over you.
