📣 ANNOUNCEMENT 📣 Public schools in Australia are struggling under decades of underfunding and neglect. The Greens have a plan to fix this and get public schools to 100% funding.
Successive Labor and Liberal governments have left public schools to rot, while private schools receive a growing share of public funding. Under Labor, private schools are pocketing $51 million of federal government money every day, while 98.7% of public schools don’t receive even their minimum funding.
With the majority of Australian kids growing up in the public system, we don’t think any child should go without the high-quality education they deserve. The Greens are the party of public education, and we will fight to save our public schools.
