Adjournment Speech on the tragic Israel – Palestine Conflict
Our thoughts are with innocent Palestinians and Israelis, victims of horrifying acts of violence rightly called war crimes.
We cannot be silent. Tasmanian and Australian governments need to take a stand against Israel’s bombing, siege and forced displacement of millions of innocent civilians, as well as the despicable actions of Hamas against innocents.
Anything less than wholesale condemnation of the war crimes unfolding makes us all complicit – and gives our nod to the proliferating violence. The Greens stand in support of peace and the rule of international law for all.
