Maugean Skate – monitored to extinction
The Maugean Skate is an ancient fish species that lives in Macquarie Harbour, and nowhere else. It is currently being monitored to extinction by the Tasmanian Government. We are calling for them to do far more than ‘monitor’ – we need the government to get fish farms out of the harbour. That’s what is killing them.
