Tasmanian Parliament recommits to eliminating violence against women – Tabatha Badger MP for Lyons
On 28th November, The Greens proudly stood in solidarity with all members of parliament to eliminate violence against women. Domestic, sexual, and family violence have no place in a modern, fair Tasmanian society. The revised motion to the House of Assembly comes a decade after the original White Ribbon Day joint motion condemning all forms of violence against women in Tasmania and committing all MPs to put aside politics to work collaboratively on creating a safer, equal Tasmania.
