The government fails to realize that forests are far more valuable standing than as wood chips
Tasmania’s forests are so much more valuable standing than as wood chips.
But still the Liberal government is pushing ahead with plans to log 40,000 hectares of forests that were set aside as reserves.
Local communities have made it clear they oppose these logging plans.
The Greens are backing them every step of the way in the fight to protect these forests.
