The Greens will fight to fund 24/7 radiology and pathology onsite at Launceston General Hospital as part of our plan to invest health instead of a Hobart stadium.
Stella Jenning’s Mum went to LGH thinking she would get the treatment she needed. Instead, she waited too long for tests and tragically passed away. The Liberals told Stella they’d fund pathology and radiology staff to be available onsite at LGH twenty-four hours a day. Three years later and they haven’t done it.
We don’t need a new stadium in Tasmania. What we do need is to invest in health so people can get the care they need when they need it. Vote 1-7 Green to stop the stadium and fund a health system that’s truly there when you need it!
