Making ADHD care better in Western Australia
A re-elected Cook Labor government will make it cheaper and easier for West Aussies to access ADHD care by allowing GPs to diagnose ADHD and prescribe medication.
This means a diagnosis for children and adults will no longer require a specialist psychiatrist or paediatricians – removing a lengthy and costly obstacle to treatment.
It’s a common-sense change that will allow GPs to better support their patients, while reducing the burden on those seeking treatment for ADHD.
Just another way Roger Cook and WA Labor are doing what’s right for WA.
