Labor have put aside $1.5 billion for a massive expansion of gas on Larrakia land in the NT, but traditional owners say they haven’t been properly consulted with.

The Middle Arm project threatens some of the only Larrakia rock art to have survived colonisation. Nigel Browne from the Larrakia Development Corporations says it should be considered a “priceless part of our history.”

Labor shouldn’t be wrecking our climate and First Nations rock art to expand the gas industry.

When the approval for this project comes across the Environment Minister’s desk, she should block it.
