This morning I proudly announced that federal Labor Government will partner with the Queensland Government to kickstart a battery hub here in Queensland.
We will continue exporting raw minerals, but we have an opportunity to add value right here too. We’ll use these resources to manufacture batteries for households, businesses and our energy grid.
It’ll mean more jobs for locals and new industries to power our economy.
Labor believes we can have a future made in Australia, and we’ve got the plans and the determination to make it happen.
