When the global financial crisis hit, Labor did what it had to do to avoid recession and protect jobs. Tony Abbott and the Liberals opposed it. But our economy came through stronger and with lower debt than any major advanced economy and the lowest unemployment.
200,000 full time jobs have been created the Budget will return to surplus in 2013. And now we’re strengthening the economy with tax cuts for small business to move Australia forward.
