The Albanese Labor government is committed to reducing the prevalence of problem gambling in Australia.
From July 31 more than 150 online wagering providers will be required to issue detailed, easy-to-understand activity statements to users.
Providers have worked constructively with government with the aim to prevent problem gamblers from spiralling into debt.
