It was questions galore with the St Joseph’s Primary Grade 5 and 6 students in Beechworth last week!

They visited Parliament House earlier in the year, so we talked about the different levels of Government and which one deals with plastic pollution and rubbish collection.

Just like we vote in Parliament House, we took a vote about whether we need a new playground or a new basketball court. We then brainstormed how to argue for money for the playground and who we can ask for it. There were some very smart operators who I am sure can talk their way into anything!

I’m so happy that I finally made it to St Joseph’s Primary. Such a beautiful school and energised students. Thank you to Mr Butters and Ms Shaw for welcoming me into your classroom.
