The Budget includes a number of measures aimed at helping people reduce their energy bills and reduce emissions.
This is something experts like Saul Griffith have been calling for, and it’s something I have
also talked about in Parliament.Solar panels, double glazing, more-efficient appliances are all ways that households reduce their costs, reduce their reliance on the grid, and reduce emissions.
I’m pleased the Government has listened, and that there are measures to support businesses and those in social housing too. This is a good start, but there is plenty more to do in this area.
