Michelle Boylan – Liberal for Murray-Wellington
I’m Michelle Boylan, your local Liberal candidate for the district of Murray-Wellington. I’m a South West local, and Harvey is where my husband and I have chosen to live, work, and raise our family.
Living in the South West for over 20 years, I’ve had a range of careers which have taken me right across our region.
I am a staunch advocate for child protection and mental health, and tackling domestic violence and drug related crime. Being a police officer was a challenging yet fulfilling role which made me understand the complex range of law and order issues our communities face, and how we can work to overcome them.
You have a right to feel safe at all times. I know we need to tackle domestic violence and drug related crime. A well-resourced Police Force with a visible local presence is essential to community safety.
My passion for safety, child protection and empowerment later saw me become a Chaplain in a number of schools in the South West.
I also serve as a Councillor for the Shire of Harvey, Chair the Harvey Senior High School Board and volunteer with several local organisations seeking better environmental and economic outcomes for our region.
