New Energy Jobs Plan – Bringing Manufacturing Back to WA
The Liberals ambitious New Energy Jobs Plan is the biggest jobs plan for WA in generations and will lead us forward into a post-COVID recovery.
It’s all about bringing manufacturing back to WA, so we can build more with our WA resources and create jobs for now and the future.
It will open up new markets, exporting clean, safe hydrogen to trading partners like Japan and Korea, and power a new green steel industry.
It’s a vision that is in our Liberal DNA, a nation-building project that will create jobs and prosperity for Western Australia, just like Sir Charles’ vision for the North West Shelf.
This project will enable the State Government to achieve zero emissions. To be perfectly clear this will not impact the private sector. This is only about the State Government’s emissions and leading by example. Our plan will support business transition to green exports and clean energy operations – if they choose and it makes sense to their own business.
