It’s a deeply difficult time for our Muslim community this Ramadan. We shared our experiences and supported each other, in solidarity with Palestinians, and shared our grief and anger over Israel’s genocide in Gaza and the inaction of the Labor government.
We heard from three extraordinary Palestinians about their hopes and dreams Palestine’s future; Remah Naji, Jamal Nabulsi and Sameer Ellagta, with Aunty Debbie Sandy doing a Welcome to Country. Thank you Senator Mehreen Faruqi for coming up to spend time with us all, to Jonathan Sriranganathan for hosting our insightful and interesting panel, and to everyone who came and helped out at this lovely event.
