This week, Senator Penny Allman-Payne introduced her first Bill to Parliament to establish a National Energy Transition Authority. This independent body would guide Australia’s shift from coal and gas to reliable, secure and low-cost renewable energy, while driving investment in regional communities and ensuring that no worker is left behind.

And Elizabeth Watson-Brown – Greens MP for Ryan moved an amendment to Labor’s bill to set up a high-speed rail authority, to ensure that it is a fully publicly owned entity ✊
