Do stunts detract from serious issues?
I would argue, in this case, it had the opposite effect.
While everyone is having their say about the pig stunt at parliament a couple weeks ago, as this headline from
Sky News reads – Woolworths reduced their prices after the pig stunt.That’s right – Us Independents are effecting change. Besides holding inquiries and talking about affordability, what are the major parties doing?
And the action doesn’t stop here – next will the Independents will be introducing legislation (which I proposed 10 years go), to reduce supermarket dominance and level out the playing field between farm gate price and we all pay at the check out.
