The decision to scrap Temporary Protection Visas (TPVs) and Safe Haven Enterprise Visas (SHEVs) is a good one, and long overdue. The Greens join with the thousands of people who are celebrating this news today.
We’ll examine this policy change in detail to ensure that no-one is left behind. The government must take steps to support all refugees, particularly those who have faced years of uncertainty, including those who were left in a state of legal limbo.
