Breaking: justice has prevailed for Violet Coco, against those from within the Liberal and Labor parties who tried to silence opposition to their reckless policies, the police who made false claims and have been emboldened to overreach and squash our rights. Not today, not ever. Not in a democracy that relies on protest to be a fair and functioning society.
But make no mistake, we cannot allow this to go any farther than it has been allowed to. We must enshrine the right to dissent into law for good, so no government or party will ever be allowed to erode our rights or freedoms of expression ever again.
