Jamie Parker, Greens for Balmain
Two years ago, Jamie Parker and The Greens scored almost half the vote in the Leichhardt council elections, and Jamie was elected Mayor. The Greens went on to build an unprecedented amount of local infrastructure, from parks and childcare centres to roads and buildings run on clean energy. Now, Jamie is running for state parliament. If he and the Greens can make so many real changes at a local level, imagine what they could achieve in state parliament.
