Every survey and poll shows Victorians want money spent on public transport over roads. Yet, the Napthine government has ignored the community as well as transport experts in favour of the big road lobby and has earmarked billions to tollroads from East to West, while ignoring their election commitment to “fix public transport”.
The Greens will campaign with the community to see the $15 billion spent on a world class public transport system and other essential services like health care and schools, making for a more livable Melbourne.
