Demolition works have already started on the Barak Beacon public housing estate. This is despite the fact people are still living there. One of those people is Margaret Kelly, who doesn’t plan on leaving without a fight.
Barak Beacon is her home.
In the middle of a housing crisis, this Labor Govt should be building more public housing, not demolishing what we have, leaving land vacant for years.
That’s why we’re joining the fight, alongside Margaret, to save Barak Beacon and act in solidarity with public housing residents everywhere.
