For too long women’s health hasn’t received the attention it deserves.
Women have been told period and pelvic pain is normal – they’ve been misdiagnosed, or sometimes told to just live with their condition.
Labor has listened to Victorian women. And now we’ll find solutions.
If we’re re-elected, we’ll establish an inquiry into women’s pain management – and invest in research support services to collect evidence from our Women’s Health Clinics to improve patient treatment.
But that’s not all.
We’ll support the establishment of Australia’s first Women’s Health Research Institute, cementing Victoria as a world leader in women’s health research.
These changes will mean women are treated in systems and clinics, designed for them.
It’ll improve the lives of so many Victorians.
And only a re-elected Labor Government will deliver it.
