The push to restrict gambling ads in sport is growing momentum but the Gillard Government remains committed to a new industry code of self-regulation. Greens spokesperson for gambling, Senator Richard Di Natale, told SBS that the code wouldn’t change much and it wouldn’t do anything to separate gambling and sport.
