#ProtectPrestonMarket | The future of Preston Market has been under threat for some time now because the land is privately owned and these private interests have had less interest in the future of the market despite the important access to fresh food and community connection it affords the community.
The government should act urgently to protect the market.
We need places like the Preston Market now more than ever and we cannot let it just be turned into another developers’ paradise that makes them squillions and leaves the community socially and economically poorer.
