Over 80 housing, renting, community, health and youth organisations have called for caps on rent increases and significant improvements to renters rights.�
Their calls include greater stability and security for people who rent, stronger protections and fair limits on rent increases, enforceable standards for safe and healthy rentals, and a substantial investment in social housing and genuinely affordable homes.

Labor now have a choice – they can choose to join us and the community by seizing a historic opportunity to make a real difference in millions of lives.

We know unlimited rent increases should be illegal and that renters deserve genuine rights and protections.
