Senator Robert Simms questions the government on support for university students
Senator Robert Simms used his first question in Question Time, to coincide with Day One of O’Week around the country, to grill the Liberal government on converting the Start-Up Scholarships into loans, increasing the debt of more than 200,000 university students, whether the government would continue with its deregulation agenda and when youth allowance would be increased to help students cope with the rising cost of their education.
