As I have said on other sites ,I am amazed that live export can be stopped over night but stopping flights in and out of Indonesia is not an option. If FMD arrives in Australia it will never be eradicated. There are just too many feral goats, pigs buffalo and cattle to destroy all carriers. The ramifications would be catastrophic. Australia would have a huge budget deficit for many many years and government spending on essential services would probably be severely cut. Please please take stronger action.
