Did you know almost 50 students have already been supported by CUC Ovens Murray?
I was at the official opening of the new CUC Ovens Murray – Corryong on Friday and even though we were there to cut the ribbon, it was clear the impact is already being felt by local students.
The three Country Universities Centres across Indi – Wangaratta, Mansfield and Corryong – allow students who are enrolled at any university across Australia to access the facilities for study, as well as support services.
The students who have already used the centres have been enrolled at 20 different universities and higher education providers.
What excites me the most, is that half of the people who have used the CUCs so far are the first in their family to attend university. These centres are making sure higher education isn’t just available to students in big cities, and I encourage anyone who is enrolled at university across Indi to check them out and see how they can assist you.
