Everybody needs good neighbours and we have many good neighbours in Indi!
It was great to meet with Sam Birrell MP in my office in Parliament this week – Sam is the Member for Nicholls, elected at the most recent election.
We talked about all the special things we have in common, and the challenges facing our region – especially the flooding of recent weeks. We are all thinking of the people in places like Echuca in Sam’s electorate, where the situation is still very tough.
People often think politics is all about the arguments – but more often it is about meetings like this, talking about what we share and how we can work together.
