The Black Summer Bushfires devastated communities across Indi and hundreds of volunteers worked tirelessly for weeks to keep others safe.
More than 700 CFA volunteers from across the North East have been recognised with the National Emergency Medal for their services over the 2019-20 bushfire season. I join with our communities in saying thank you and recognising these important contributions to our communities.
