I absolutely love it when I get the chance to meet with local Indi schools on their visits to Canberra.
Today I ducked out of Question Time to say hello to students from Myrtleford P-12 College as they finished up their tour. This is the 5-6 class and a 6-7 class was also on a tour after their trip two years ago was cancelled due to COVID.
The students had insightful questions about being a politician and the parliamentary process – and I learnt the fist-bump is overtaking the high-five among the younger generations!
