The Government just introduced its legislation for a National Anti Corruption Commission.
This is a momentous day.
We wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for members of the crossbench, my predecessor Cathy McGowan and brave people like Bridget Archer, Member for Bass.
We have fought for this for more than 10 years.
Our job is not done. We will be holding the Government to account, making sure they get it right, until the National Anti-Corruption Commission is established.
