There are many parts of Cathy McGowan’s legacy I am proud to continue as the Independent Federal Member for Indi. One of them is the Canberra volunteer program, where volunteers travel from Indi to experience what happens in Parliament House during a sitting week.
During the last Parliament, COVID-19 meant there were many weeks when volunteers couldn’t come to Canberra and it has been so good to have the office full of life, with extra points of view and contributions.
