Kim Hames Valedictory Speech
Dr Kim Hames was first elected to Parliament in 1993, representing the seat of Dianella. Following the abolition of this seat, Kim ran for the seat of Yokine and later Dawesville in 2005.
Prior to his retirement, Kim was the Deputy Premier and Deputy Leader of the Western Australian Liberal Party.
Kim is credited as being Western Australia’s greatest Health Minister, responsible for completely rebuilding our health system.
