Yesterday I spoke on the industrial relations legislation that the Government is trying to ram through the parliament.

This is bad legislation, being introduced at the worst possible time for the economy.

Labor’s changes will complicate the system and create conflict in workplaces – leading to more strikes. The changes will increase cost of living pressures for Australian families and small businesses.

Labor’s legislation is bad for our nation, and bad for our economic future.

It’s about the Government handing over control of our industrial relations system to their union paymasters who have donated millions to Labor’s political campaigns.

All of us have a genuine desire to improve our industrial relations system – but what has been put forward by the Government will take our system backwards.
