It doesn’t seem like this new government is taking climate change seriously. Since May, the Albanese Labor government:
❌Approved 50,000km/2 for oil and gas exploration on our coastlines.
❌Signed off on expanding the Scarborough gas field, which will create 1.7 billion tonnes of CO2 emissions by 2050.
❌Provided over $40bn in public money to fossil fuel companies in the new budget.
Join us on November 12th as we call on Labor to commit to serious climate action and join the COP27 protest at Town Hall.
